Fun times in the month of June

  Kia ora, it’s Tapae here This month I enjoyed a mix of  fun center based activities including Kapahaka & board games with friends. I am doing ½ a day on Fridays at the moment as it works well with coming over on the barge from Matakana Island with my parents. They have stuff to do and I hang out with my friends.  Our Wilrose centre iSing Kapahaka performance was really cool. I also stood up and sang & did some poi in front of Te Tomika trust friends and others.  Out in our community I have played social ball games in the sunshine with my friends at Isla park, racing on the flying fox & cooking sausages for a bbq lunch. I am gonna be away next month as I have a whanau wedding to go to.  Haere ra till next month

Choice times in the month of May

  Kia Ora Tapae here, It's choice being back to Wilrose & socialising with friends in the sunshine at Morland Fox park. I enjoyed an outing to Quirks cafe & caught up with friends from Greerton. I supported friends by cheering them on while watching the talent quest hosted at Greerton which was cool. Bring on more fun activities next month

 I worked hard helping out in the garden for papatuanuku then came inside to do some singing and drumming with my friends. I sung a few of my favourite songs. I had a choice time.

eco sourcing manuka

 Today I went eco sourcing with the discovery group,there were no titoki seeds at bethlehem so we spent the rest of the day out at Te Puna quarry. There was lots to check out, butterflys, sculputures & I found a manuka tree to get some seeds off. I will grow them next year!

Discovery Group

My Discovery group went to Argyle Reserve off Maleme street and met up with Angus from the Tauranga city council. We helped with resoration & worked hard, it was nice to see the difference after all of our hard work.
